Terms of Use

Last updated: October 8, 2026

These terms apply to the web version of “Boberek,” its Telegram version, and the Android and iOS apps.

By opening the game or using its features, you agree to these terms. If you have not reached the age at which you may independently accept these terms under applicable law, you may use the game only with the permission of a parent or legal guardian. In that case, the parent or legal guardian accepts these terms on your behalf.

Who provides the game

Boberek is operated by Maksim Amosov, IE, a sole proprietor in the Republic of Armenia.

The publisher and seller of the iOS app on the App Store is Elena Amosova, a sole proprietor in the Republic of Serbia.

Maksim Amosov, IE provides the backend, accounts, progress synchronization, and support across all versions. Each sole proprietor is responsible for obligations within their stated role. In these terms, “we” refers to the relevant sole proprietor within that role.

About the game

“Boberek” is an educational game about the facts, history, culture, and traditions of Poland.

The web and Telegram versions can be used free of charge and contain no advertising. The Android and iOS versions are also available free of charge, but Google AdMob may show ads to players without Premium. Paid Premium is available in Telegram, Android, and iOS under the terms below.

We may develop the game, add, change, or remove features, and release separate versions on other platforms. If a change materially affects your rights, we will notify you in advance where reasonably possible or required by law.

Premium and payments

Premium provides the game benefits listed in the offer before purchase. Temporary and lifetime options are available; the selected option, access period, and price are shown before payment.

In Telegram, Premium is paid for using Telegram Stars. Each purchase is separately confirmed in Telegram, is a one-time purchase, and does not renew automatically. Any reference to a subscription in this version's interface describes the access period and does not mean recurring billing. If temporary Premium is purchased again, the period shown before payment is added to the remaining access period.

On Android, purchases are made through Google Play; on iOS, through Apple In-App Purchase. The store processes and confirms the payment under its own rules. The price and period are shown before the purchase is confirmed. No Premium option renews automatically: 30-day Premium is a one-time purchase with no recurring charges (in Google Play it is set up as a prepaid subscription, and in the App Store as a non-renewing subscription), and lifetime Premium is purchased once.

Premium is activated after successful payment and purchase confirmation. Restoring a purchase and using it on other devices or platforms depends on the purchase type, store account, and features supported by the game. Premium purchased through Google Play or the App Store is linked to your store account, not to the game account, and works in the app for the same platform on devices with that store account. After reinstalling, you can recover it under “Profile” → “Restore purchases.” It does not carry over to the web or Telegram versions or between Android and iOS, and Premium purchased in Telegram does not work in the mobile apps.

For questions about purchases and Premium access, email boberek@gull.games. In Telegram, you can also use the /paysupport command; include your player number. For a mobile purchase, include the store and order or transaction identifier where available. Do not send bank card details or passwords.

Google Play refunds are handled through Google Play under its rules. For an Apple purchase, you can submit a request at reportaproblem.apple.com. Mandatory consumer rights, including any statutory right to withdraw from a distance purchase, remain unaffected. You may contact the store or us for assistance in exercising them.

If a payment is refunded, the Premium period or status linked to it ends. If access is restricted or terminated because of a material or repeated violation of these terms, unused Premium is not refunded unless a refund is required by applicable law or the relevant platform's rules.

“Lifetime Premium” means access without a preset expiration date while the relevant version of the game remains available and supported. It is not a promise that the game, platform, or technical support will exist indefinitely, and it does not limit mandatory user rights if the service is discontinued.

Account and game progress

You can play without creating a separate account. In that case, progress is stored on your device and may be lost if you clear data or change your browser or device. We cannot restore local progress that was not saved to an account.

In the web and mobile versions, a separate account allows you to save and synchronize progress across supported devices. You must provide accurate information, keep your sign-in credentials secure, and not allow others to use your account.

The Telegram version does not create a separate account or allow account sign-in: the player is recognized through Telegram itself. Game progress in this version is stored on the device and is not transferred to a separate game account in the web or mobile versions. Premium status and purchase information are stored on our server, linked to the Telegram account, and remain available after progress is reset or the device is changed.

If you suspect unauthorized access, you should change your password, sign out of your account, and contact us.

Use of the Telegram version is also subject to Telegram's terms and rules. We do not manage Telegram accounts and are not responsible for the operation of the Telegram platform itself.

Permission to use the game

As long as you comply with these terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the game for non-commercial purposes through the access methods we support.

This license does not transfer to you any rights in the code, text, illustrations, design, databases, or other game materials. For iOS, this permission is subject to the applicable App Store license agreement and Apple's usage rules, including available Family Sharing features.

Prohibited activities

You must not:

  • claim the game's materials as your own or sell them;
  • copy or distribute original text, images, design, or substantial parts of the content database except where expressly permitted by law;
  • automatically extract content, bypass technical restrictions, or place an excessive load on the service;
  • attempt to access another user's account, progress, internal systems, or non-public data;
  • interfere with the game, exploit vulnerabilities, or falsify requests or results;
  • use the game for illegal activities or to violate the rights of others;
  • remove notices of authorship, licenses, sources, or other rights.

These restrictions do not prohibit activities that cannot be restricted by contract under applicable law, search engine operation within the limits we permit, or the use of accessibility tools.

Rights to materials

Unless stated otherwise, the text, illustrations, design, software code, selection, and arrangement of materials belong to us or are used by us lawfully. Third-party rights remain with their respective owners.

Historical facts and commonly known information are not our property. You may retell them in your own words and use them as permitted by law. You may not copy our original wording, images, design, or a substantial part of our structured collection of materials without permission.

Reporting an error or sending a suggestion does not transfer to us any rights in a work created by you. You allow us to use the text of your message only as needed to review and correct the game.

Important information about the Pole's Card

“Boberek” helps users review facts and topics that may be useful when independently learning about Poland and preparing for a Pole's Card (Karta Polaka) interview.

The game:

  • is not affiliated with any government authority in Poland, Armenia, or any other country;
  • is not an official study guide;
  • does not operate on behalf of a consulate or other official organization;
  • does not replace official requirements, documents, or sources.

We do not guarantee the outcome of an interview, the granting of a Pole's Card, or any other decision by a consulate or government authority. Official authorities make their own decisions, which may depend on circumstances unrelated to the game.

Accuracy of materials

We review the materials and try to correct errors we find, but we do not guarantee that all information is accurate, current, or consistent across sources.

The game materials are provided for general educational use. Before an interview, submitting documents, or making a legally significant decision, you should check current official sources.

If you find an error, you can contact us at boberek@gull.games.

Third-party services and links

The game may use third-party services, including Telegram, Google, Apple, Google AdMob, Supabase, Vercel, and our email provider. Their platforms, accounts, and services are governed by their own terms and policies.

The game may contain links to official or third-party websites. We do not control their content or guarantee that they will remain available. A link does not mean that we endorse all content on that website.

Availability and changes to the game

The game is provided in its current form. We do not promise uninterrupted or round-the-clock availability and may temporarily restrict access for updates, error correction, security, or reasons beyond our control.

We may stop supporting a particular version or the entire game. Where reasonably possible, users with accounts will be notified in advance before the service is permanently discontinued.

Restricting access

We may temporarily restrict or terminate access to the game or a separate account if we reasonably believe that a user:

  • materially or repeatedly violates these terms;
  • attempts to compromise the game or access another person's data;
  • creates a security risk for the service or other users;
  • uses the game unlawfully.

Unless doing so would create a security risk or is prohibited by law, we will try to explain the reason and allow the user to contact us.

Resetting progress and deleting an account

You can reset game progress through the profile. Resetting progress does not delete a separate account.

The Telegram version has no separate account. Game progress can be reset in the game under “Profile” → “Reset progress.”

Deletion of Telegram Premium and purchase information can be requested as described in the Privacy Policy.

You can delete a separate account in the game (“Profile” → “Delete account”) — in the web version and the Android and iOS apps — or on the page boberek.gull.games/account/delete. If you cannot sign in, email boberek@gull.games. What is deleted and what is kept is described in the Privacy Policy.

Deleting the game account does not delete a Google, Apple, or Telegram account or purchase records in store systems, and does not cancel Google Play or App Store purchases. Resetting progress and deleting an account do not themselves constitute a purchase refund.

Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect loss, lost profits, loss of local progress not saved to an account, the unavailability of a third-party platform, or decisions made by official authorities rather than by us.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded by law, including liability for intentional misconduct, fraud, gross negligence, death or personal injury, or mandatory consumer rights.

Governing law and disputes

The obligations of Maksim Amosov, IE under these terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Armenia. The obligations of Elena Amosova as publisher and seller of the iOS app are governed by the laws of the Republic of Serbia.

If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of mandatory protections provided by the laws of your country of habitual residence. Store services are also subject to the stores' own terms.

Before going to court, the parties will try to resolve the dispute through correspondence. You may send a complaint to boberek@gull.games. This does not limit your right to apply to a competent court or government authority.

Changes to these terms

The date at the top shows when these terms were last updated. Changes apply going forward and do not cancel obligations that arose before the change.

We will notify users of material changes in the game or by another prominent method. If applicable law requires separate consent to the updated terms, we will request it before the relevant features can continue to be used.
